Fiona has a background in theatre and events. After graduating from the University of Glasgow in 1995 with an M.A. (Honours) in English and Theatre Studies, she then studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, completing a Diploma in Production and Technical Stage Management in 1998.
From 1998 to 2004, Fiona worked in freelance events/theatre for various companies including: TAG Theatre Company, The Millennium Dome, UZ Productions, Scottish Opera, Edinburgh International Festival, King’s Theatre (Edinburgh), The Happy Gang, and others. Fiona also spent time working with kids in the USA, primarily at Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Centre, NY.
She joined the Customer First Programme Office in October 2004, and is currently the Events and Communications Officer for the Improvement Service.
