Gordon is the Public Information Notices (PINs) Project Manager for the Improvement Service supporting the development and deployment of a shared web portal which will be available to all 32 councils. The project seeks to reduce local government spend on PIN advertising and improve provision of public notice information to citizens. Other key deliverable of the project are advertising guidelines for publication of PINs, hosting and maintenance arrangements, media launch of website, development of sponsorship and on-going funding mechanisms.

Gordon worked for 14 years for Getronics UK Ltd, an IT professional services solutions company, in a range of roles covering Service Delivery Management and Project Management.
