Simon joined the IS on a secondment from the City of Edinburgh Council, where he is responsible for developing the ICT strategy and its supporting programme of work. Simon also led a team of relationship managers proving an interface between all departments and the Council's Smart City transformation programme in partnership with BT Plc. Simon is currently leading a programme aimed at greater collaboration amongst Scottish Local Authorities in implementing mobile and flexible working.
