Welcome to the Analysis, Intelligence and Research community site. This community site supports the sharing of information about analysis, intelligence and research either undertaken by or of interest to Scottish local government.

The community site is designed for researchers and analysts working within Scottish local government, to improve communication and coordination amongst this community. It also aims to support the exchange of research and analysis between local government and other sectors, particularly with academics and Scottish Government analysts.

The intention is that this site offers a space to share details of analytical work, helps the community identify those working on similar projects and offers a forum for support and advice on analytical issues.

The success of the community site depends on the input by all community members. Members can contribute to this site by adding news items, documents, details of events, useful links, and posting on the discussion board. To add content you need to register on the Improvement Service website, selecting Analysis, Intelligence and Research as your area of interest.

The Analysis, Intelligence and Research community is jointly maintained by Laria in Scotland and the Improvement Service.
