ENV 7b: Percentage of adults satisfied with street cleaning
Summary definition

This indicator measures the proportion (%) of all adults surveyed who were satisfied or very satisfied with street cleaning services.

Why do we measure this?

It is important that councils know how satisfied people are with the services delivered to them. This indicator gives us an idea of the quality of councils’ street cleaning services and how happy citizens are with them.

However, currently the only data source available on a comparable level for all 32 Scottish councils is based on data gathered in the Scottish Household Survey. Not all people surveyed are users of the service directly but they are asked to express their satisfaction of the service. Please also note that some caution should be taken as the sample sizes for some local authorities can be small within the SHS.
