Change Managers' Network

The Change Managers Network (CMN) was formed in January 2015 to give local authorities in Scotland a network to coordinate the sharing of good practice and facilitate discussion on change.

This network now has over 400 members with representation from all 32 Scottish local authorities and many community planning partners including police, fire, NHS and third sector.

To help grow this network the Improvement Service has created an online community through the Knowledge Hub platform. Joining the CMN on the Knowledge Hub is the easiest way to gain access to all initiatives which we coordinate through the CMN such as:

  • a popular webinar programme showcasing good practice, expert opinions on change and tools which can be used within the workplace
  • events and workshops on topics which are relevant to the public sector change community in Scotland
  • open training opportunities either through e-learning or one off physical events
  • offerings from our partner organisations including toolkits and events hosted by councils and other improvement bodies such as Healthcare Improvement Scotland

The Improvement Service is committed to helping to grow this network to make it as useful and active for members as possible. To do this we need to hear from our members and work collaboratively with partners to deliver relevant content to all involved. If you have any ideas about developing the network further or would like to find out more then please contact the Change Management team.
