It also aims to support the exchange of research and analysis between local government and other sectors, particularly with academics and Scottish Government analysts.

Diagnostic Pathway Programme - Scottish Councils ForumThe Diagnostic Pathway programme was established in Autumn 2007. A toolkit /forum was developed to support Councils going through the programme and to enable them to learn from each other and share useful practice. esd Toolkit A-Z Scotland Community Site


esd Toolkit A-Z Scotland Community SiteOver half of all Scottish local authorities, and the One Scotland Portal are now using the outputs of the A-Z/KB project: a shared A-Z (SAZ) of services with a common services list (SSL) and navigation structure (SNL), linked to a comprehensive knowledge base of FAQs and sample forms, which can help councils better deliver services to citizens. GI Strategy


GI StrategyThe negotiations required prior to the renewal in April 2008 of the Pan Government Agreement (PGA) whereby central government accesses spatial information, including digital mapping products from the Ordnance Survey, and the similar negotiation for local government's Mapping Services Agreement (MSA) have provided an exciting opportunity to review the way in which the Scottish public sector procures GI products and services.
