The Community Planning Network was established in June 2005. The Network is made up of one representative from each CPP, with administrative support from the Scottish Government and COSLA. Community Planning co-ordinators' current contact details can be found here. AGREED REMIT FOR THE NETWORK The members have agreed an initial remit for the Network:
The Network focuses on common issues for the CP process, rather than policies delivered through Community Planning. The agenda for the Network is wholly owned by its members. A sub group of the Network acts as a Reference Group, advising on possible speakers, action following meetings and contacts with other groups. Any Network Member can attend the Reference Group and there are videoconferencing facilities available if that makes attendance easier. Minutes of the Reference Group Meetings are available here. NETWORK DEVELOPMENT The network is still young and the Reference Group is always looking for ways for it to develop, without losing focus and/or taking up too much time for members. A review of progress was carried out during Autumn 2006 and a copy of the final Report is attached for information: Community Planning Network - Evaluation Summary MEETINGS
