Community Planning Task Force PDF Print E-mail

The Community Planning Task Force (CPTF) was established in March 2001 to facilitate the development of community planning in Scotland. Its Final Report was published on 7th May 2003. The Report summarises its achievements over the two years of its existence and makes clear recommendations to the Executive, COSLA and others on future issues.

In May 2003, the CPTF was succeeded by the Community Planning Implementation Group (CPIG). The CPIG was established to build on the work of CPTF and ensure momentum was maintained in Community Planning.

The Implementation Group, as part of its remit, focused on maintaining progress, raising the profile, providing guidance to those involved, promoting best practice and giving independent focus to Community Planning. It also monitored implementation of recommendations contained in the Task Force report. Its Final Report was delivered in June 2004.

The Final Reports of both CPTF and CPIG, together with membership details, other research, reports and documents from the Groups, can be found in the Document Library.
