The Sustainable Scotland Network Annual Conference - Local Government & Climate Change: Your How to Guide -takes place this week in central Edinbrugh (8-9 November 2007): things are hotting up!

We have developed this forum with the Improvement Service to allow those participating in the conference to share ideas, information and inspiration from the two days with the wider SSN Network.

More specifically, it's an opportunity for the SSN Network to develop ideas on Scotland's Climate Change Bill. A pre-consultation session on this will be held as a part of the conference: a unique opportunity for the network.

This year's SSN Annual Conference includes a pre-consultation session on Scotland's Climate Change Bill. The session will take place on Friday 9th November from 2pm, and will revolve around the attached questions and discussion points.

If you are unable to attend the conference, no fear. Please use this forum as an opportunity to begin thinking about what your Council would like to see in the Bill consultation, and how your Council might respond.
