Mark

I'm keen to be involved in any network, particularly one that encompasses input from the wider local government community.

Thanks

Hi Gary and Charles,

I lead on the partnership and joint ventures portfolio and with Mark & Andrew am looking at performance management specifically in community planning as it is a slightly different beast to corporate PM!

Current plan is to hold an event in early June getting together people who have done some work in this area, share their experience and also some of our thoughts and research in this area. Based on this we would like to get a view from the group about how best we can support developements in this area.

Anyone interested? Would also be keen to encourage people from all of the other partners in community planning e. health, transport, enterprise etc to get involved in this debate as we do need to find a way of making the systems fit together.

Unfortunately I'm now on leave until the 15th May but would be delighted to have a chat with anyone who is interested when I get back - email address is This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and we can set something up. (Even have a GSOH since Charles started the single club analogy!)

Hi folks

Just to let you know that things are now progressing. We will be organising a workshop on PM at our Best Value conference that is taking place in the Raddison, Glasgow on May 31st. At the workshop we will set out details of our work programme as well as opening up debates on how we might move PM forward. I will post details when they are ready. Also for those who have lodged an interest I will contact you shortly with some suggestions for times etc to meet to talk matters through directly.

Cheers
Mark
