Core Programmes
Outcomes are at the heart of what we do. We exist to support councils and their partners to improve the health, quality of life and opportunities for all people in Scotland through community leadership, strong local governance and the delivery of high quality, efficient local services.
Our work is categorised across four core programmes:
- Improving Outcomes
- Organisational Development & Capacity Building
- Knowledge Management
- Shared Services including Customer First
Although IS staff are based in programme teams for operational purposes, no strand of work stands alone and any development will draw on staff from across teams to ensure an integrated approach. In reality, all four programmes are inextricably linked by the unifying theme of helping councils and their partners to improve outcomes.
