The IS is supporting councils and their partners to promote equalities. This includes:
- Developing an Equalities Framework in consultation with key stakeholders, and promoting the benefits of this approach to other organisations;
- Integrating the Equalities Framework into the Public Service Improvement Framework (PSIF);
- Supporting the Scottish Councils' Equalities Network community of practice
