Customer First is a Scottish Government sponsored programme developed in partnership with Scottish local authorities and managed, with the support of the Scottish Government, COSLA and SOLACE, under the direction of the IS. It focuses on ensuring customer-focused, easier-to-access, better integrated local services; effective collaboration across the public sector; better use of public resources; high standards of public service, and is underpinned by a willingness to both innovate and learn from others. Customer First is also working with the Scottish Government to develop the OneScotland Portal , a signposting service that will provide citizens with a single, convenient point of access to all public services in Scotland.
