Step 3 - Confirm 360 degree reviewers

E-mail Print PDF
  • Once you have received completed contact details for an Elected Member’s 360 degree reviewers, it is vital that you telephone each reviewer to check that the Elected Member has spoken to them about the Development Profile and that they are happy to provide feedback on the Elected Member’s behaviours. This step is crucial because in the CPD Framework pilot project, approximately one-quarter of reviewers were not contacted by the Elected Member.

  • If a proposed reviewer agrees to provide 360 degree feedback, email them the Guidance for Reviewers on Providing 360 Degree Feedback.

  • If a proposed reviewer advises you that they do not wish to provide 360 degree feedback, notify the Elected Member that one of their reviewers does not wish to provide feedback and give them the opportunity to select another reviewer.  Do not disclose the name of the individual who declined the offer to provide feedback.  Remember that the Elected Member cannot participate in 360 degree feedback if the number of reviewers they have nominated falls below four.
