Dave qualified as electronic engineer from Napier College and worked with Ferranti Ltd for 8 years. He then moved to Xerox The Document Company where he worked for 25 years reaching the position of Group Resource Manager, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Dave has worked on many major initiatives in Human Resources, Quality and Customer Satisfaction and was instrumental in the Xerox Scotland Award Submission that won the Scottish Award for Business Excellence in 1995. During this time Dave achieved Chartered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.Since joined QS in 2000 as an Account Director, he gained further experience on quality frameworks and also has written a variety of reports and papers on different Quality Frameworks, Standards and Tools.
Subsequent to this, Dave became Chief Executive of Quality Scotland in October of 2007
