Around 150 delegates gathered in Edinburgh for the first financial education conference held in Scotland since 2012.
Attended by a wide range of delegates from both the education and financial sectors and supported by the Money Advice Service, Accountant in Bankruptcy and the Improvement Service, the aim of the event was to:
The conference was chaired by Gordon McKinlay, Head of Schools in Renfrewshire Council. The keynote speakers were: Kirsty Bowman-Vaughan, Money Advice Service; Richard Dennis, Accountant in Bankruptcy; Alan Armstrong, Education Scotland and Jim Lally, Education Scotland.
