The IS and Dundee City Council hosted a regeneration conference in Discovery Point, Dundee on 8 November 2017, as part of the IS Leading Practice conference programme.
Colleagues from Dundee City Council and partner organisations shared their stories about Dundee’s journey to transforming a city, focusing on both economic and community regeneration.
This included Gillian Easson of Creative Dundee leading a series of ‘lightening talks’ with lots of short, snappy presentations on aspects of regeneration in Dundee including:
Delegates also had the opportunity to participate in city safaris, to visit a couple of projects which illustrate Dundee’s approach to regeneration, including walking and virtual tours of the Dundee Waterfront and bus trips out to two of Dundee’s award winning community ‘one-stop-shops’ – The Crescent and Lochee Community Hubs.
