This course combines an overview of fundamental concepts and terminology with the practicalities needed to implement projects successfully using the PRINCE2 methodology. Using case studies and practical exercises, delegates will explore project management topics in greater depth, such as planning, scheduling and control tools.

Who should attend this course?

Project managers, those involved in setting up a project and others who will play a significant role in a project team.

What will I gain from this course?

By the end of the two day course, delegates will be able to:

  • Manage a project effectively
  • Apply the PRINCE2 methodology where appropriate
  • Recognise roles and responsibilities in project management
  • Define project deliverables and project scope
  • Understand product-based planning, critical path analysis, activity and resource planning
  • Schedule and control projects using key control documentation
  • Undertake project closure – review and learn from strengths and weaknesses identified on completion of a project
