The Digital Public Service team at the Improvement Service have been shortlisted as a finalist in three categories at the upcoming Holyrood’s 2019 Connect ICT Awards.
The Awards are Scotland’s only event which celebrates the excellence and achievements of ICT in the Scottish public sector. The categories reflect the innovative and creative solutions found to solve public service challenges through the use of technology to bring real benefits to Scotland’s citizens.
The team at the IS were shortlisted for the Connect Innovate Award for the most innovative use of ICT in delivering public services.
The second shortlisted place is for the Connect Citizen Award for a project and solution which has used ICT to engage with citizens and create citizen-centred services. The team chose parentsportal.scot in collaboration with SEEMiS as an example of this.
The final place is for the Connect Project Delivery Award which is to recognise the use of best practice in the successful development and delivery of an ICT project.
The Awards ceremony will take place in Edinburgh on the 6th of June.
