John Hill, Depute Chief Executive at West Lothian Council, joined the PSIF Board in October 2010. In his role, John is responsible for key areas including housing, human resources, legal, waste management, roads and transportation and has extensive experience of the PSIF and implementing the framework in council services.Born and brought up in West Lothian, John is a qualified management accountant and joined West Lothian Council when it was formed in 1996 from Lothian Regional Council. He served as an Assistant Director for Business Services in the Transportation department and then held the post of Business Services Manager for West Lothian Contracts and Environmental Services prior to being appointed Head of Operational Services in 2002. Operational Services was transformed under John’s leadership, for the benefit of the West Lothian community.
