Diagnostic Pathway

DocumentsDate added

Leaflet produced by the Improvement Service outlining the work that has already taken place as part of the Diagnostic and Design programmes, and the next steps. The programmes' approach enables councils to identify opportunities for improving services and realising efficiencies through simplifying, standardising and sharing; and then develop those opportunities into practical solutions.
This report summarises the approach and outputs from the Shared Services Diagnostic Pathway undertaken by all local authorities in Scotland. The Diagnostic Pathway aimed to gather information on how people were deployed within every council in Scotland in order to identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and share processes and operations with the intention of increasing efficiency and improving services.
