'Community Planning - Delivering the Benefits' Conference 27 November 2007

The first national Community Planning Conference, 'Community Planning - Delivering the Benefits' was held on 27 November 2007 at Tulliallan Police College and was attended by 200 partner representatives.

Speakers were Stuart Ogg of Scottish Enterprise Forth Valley, Tom Divers of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth John Swinney MSP and Pat Watters of CoSLA.

Issues discussed included governance arrangements, Outcome Agreements, Community Capacity Building/Leadership and Engagement with Partners/Sectors.

A summary of the discussions, as well as papers and presentations from the Conference are now available in the library.
