A health and well-being guide for councillors has been launched by NHS Health Scotland.

The Short Guide, How do councillors improve health and community wellbeing highlights the role councillors play in health improvement from the perspective of their electorate, their council and their position in partnerships such as Community Planning Partnerships, Community Health Partnerships and NHS Boards.

For more information and a copy of the guide, plus all the presentations from the launch event, visit the Local Government Health Improvement Programme on the Health Scotland website.
