Laria in Scotland have organised a seminar on single outcome agreements. To be held in Linlithgow, 9 January 2008.
This seminar will provide participants with the opportunity to find out about the implications of the adoption of a full-blown output-based approach to Council planning and budgeting for research and intelligence gathering. It will also provide an opportunity for networking and sharing experiences. So in addition to formal presentations, there will be a breakout session, where there will be discussions on three issues relating to (i) problems with developing performance and outcome indicators, (ii) the implications of outcome-based planning for future research and intelligence gathering and (iii) the skills needed by researchers to operate in the new environment. Details and a booking form are booking form attached.
