COSLA has circulated to all Chief Executives the Single Outcome Agreements Package which provides guidance, format and indicators to support Local Government in Scotland in developing their SOAs.
The information in the package is a culmination of work from the Single Outcome Agreement Group, which comprises Audit Scotland, COSLA, the Scottish Government, Improvement Service and SOLACE, and includes in it feedback from consultations with councils over the last three months. The Group recognises that the materials are not yet perfect, and questions or comments from Councils would be very welcome.
The Group will also be organising a number of regional workshops to provide councils with an opportunity for close questioning of the materials and processes included in the pack. Please send any feedback to Janine Botfield , Corporate Policy Manager on 0131 474 9248.
