This study by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation details the construction of neighbourhood identity, its relationship to social class and status, and its resilience to change, through examining the Riverside, Raploch and Randolph Road neighbourhoods of Stirling.  The study explores the ways in which neighbourhood identity is formed and considers the implications for policies that seek to improve and enhance neighbourhoods and communities.
