Police and Partners Build Stronger Relations with Residents of Drumchapel

Strathclyde Police are working together with Glasgow Community and Safety Services (GCSS), a pioneering organisation set up to tackle antisocial behaviour, environmental incivility and crime and vandalism, in a bid to promote a new relationship between residents and the police.  The three month pilot is designed to provide a more focused and proactive approach within the community.  By working together, both GCSS and the police will be able to provide real-time intervention and ensure residents' problems and issues are dealt with quickly and effectively. More detailed information on this new community policing plan can be found here.
