Designing citizen-centred Governance, May 2008
The expansion in opportunities for citizen participation and of partnerships as a means of making policy and delivering services has created a wide range of different ways in which public services are governed, and can consequently result in confusion about responsibilities and how people can get involved in decision making. This piece of research published by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation investigates the different models of citizen-centred governance and the principles on which this is based.
