The Public Service Improvement Framework (PSIF) Board is delighted to announce that Renfrewshire and The Moray Councils are now taking forward PSIF.
This now means that 18 organisations have either adopted and implementing PSIF. This also includes 14 Councils that represents almost 70 per cent of the total Revenue Support Grant to Scottish Councils. The following PSIF Councils and organisations are as follows:
- Angus Council
- Clackmannanshire Council
- Glasgow City Council
- Inverclyde Council
- North Ayrshire Council
- North Lanarkshire Council
- Renfrewshire Council
- Scottish Borders Council
- Stirling Council
- The City of Edinburgh Council
- The Highland Council
- The Moray Council
- West Dunbartonshire Council
- West Lothian Council
- Strathclyde Fire and Rescue Service
- Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service
- Skills Development Scotland
- Includem.
This clearly demonstrates the commitment by councils and other public / voluntary sector organisations to a model that underpins robust and effective self-evaluation that supports the agendas around Single Outcome Agreements and the Scottish Government's response to the Crerar Review.
Since the launch of PSIF Phase 2 on 19th March 2008 in Glasgow, there has been an extraordinary uptake and interest from six organisations involved with Phase 1 to now 18 organisations and growing.
