The Improvement Service has completed the tendering exercise for the IS Consultancy Framework Contract. The Framework contains information about a range of service providers with expertise and experience in areas that are important to local authorities. The Framework Contract will run for three years and is open to all councils and their partners.

The Framework consists of 10 Categories:

1.     Consultancy 
2.     Events 
3.     PR & Marketing 
4.     Facilitation
5.     Research & Evaluation 
6.     Training Development
7.     Web Content
8.     Staff / Team Development
9.     KM Tools & Techniques
10.   Design related services

The contract is due to go live on 3 August 2009 and all councils will be issued with the Framework terms, a pricing catalogue and a consultants profile per category to ensure users have sufficient information to use the contract effectively. We will be issuing the information to Procurement Teams and Chief Executives. We are also in the process of establishing links with Scotland Excel.
