The LGC Awards 2010 are now open for entries. The awards, run by Local Government Chronicle, recognise best practice, innovation and improvement across UK local government.
Awards are given in 17 categories. New categories this year include Equalities and Diversity, Personalisation and Choice, Procurement and Place of the Year.More information on the awards and how to enter is at www.lgcawards.co.uk. The closing date for entries is 13 November 2009 and the winners will be announced on 24 March 2010.
