The PSIF Operational Board are delighted to announce that South Lanarkshire and Falkirk Council have joined the PSIF Partnership with effect from June 2009 bringing the number of participating councils to 19 within a wider partnership of 26.

A document outlining the wider benefits of using the PSIF is now available to download from this site.

Should you require further information on PSIF and the benefits of using the framework within local government and the wider public sector in Scotland, please contact Jane O'Donnell, PSIF Project Manager on 01506 775567.

Operational Board

The next meeting of the PSIF Operational Board is scheduled for Friday 26th June 2009. At this meeting, the Board will consider potential benchmarking opportunities, the use of PSIF within Community Planning Partnerships, the identification and treatment of risks and potential improvements in the current governance arrangements amongst others.

Community of Practice

The PSIF Community of Practice (CoP) now has 98 members using the site as a method of finding information, advice and support. Current themes under discussion include how to implement PSIF across a large organisation, how to communicate with members of self-evaluation teams and sharing performance indicators amongst teams.

All materials for our events can also be found on the site for those officers who were unable to attend.

Membership of the CoP is restricted to organisations within the local government family.
