Stirling Council has become the 13th Scottish council to select Lagan's Enterprise Caseload Management solution to manage its customers' service and information requests. The Council has taken advantage of the national framework agreement developed by the Improvement Service in partnership with Scottish local government.

The move will provide Stirling Council with the opportunity to provide a better level of customer service to its 86,000 customers and supports a key strand of Stirling Council's vision of being ‘a place where services that citizens receive are efficient, effective and customer focused.'

Stirling Council will replace its existing customer relationship management system with the Lagan solution and joins an increasing number of Scottish councils standardised around the Lagan solution.

Mark Tye, Stirling Council's IT Manager comments, ‘'Lagan's success in implementing its Enterprise Case Management solution elsewhere in Scotland was a major factor in our decision and the national framework agreement's attractive terms and conditions make this an attractive proposition for us. We benefit too, from the existing collaborative work between Scottish local government and the Improvement Service; this has saved us a huge amount time to procure and select a supplier. Having seen Lagan's solution in action within different councils, we are confident it will help us to improve the service we can offer our residents and visitors, deliver better outcomes for the customer, help the Council to meet and face its opportunities and challenges, meet national targets, and achieve significant cost savings.''

Stirling Council's decision means that 1.8 million Scottish citizens now have their service and information requests handled using Lagan's solution.

Philip Murray, UK Sales Director of Lagan comments, ‘'We are delighted to build on our recent success in Scotland and look forward to supporting the Council deliver its vision of its citizens."
