The Improvement Service has been short listed as a finalist in the e-Government National Awards 2009.

The National CRM Programme is a finalist in the 'Innovation in Strategy on a National Level'. A total of 72 finalists across eleven categories have been selected from hundreds of nominations across the UK.

The e-Government National Awards recognise excellence in the use of technology, enabling businesses and citizens to better communicate with councils, central government, NHS and other public sector organisations.

The winners will be announced on 20 January 2010.

To reach this stage alone reflects significant contributions from colleagues working on the Customer First Programme in partnership with local government, the National CRM Programme Board chaired by Alex Linkston and our private sector partners. We acknowledge and value the contributions of each.

For more information on the National CRM Programme, contact Martin Brown or Hilary Horton.
