The Customer Service Professional (CSP) Qualifications have been named as a finalist in the HR Network (Scotland) National Awards 2009.

The Qualifications made the shortlist of three in the Strategic People Development Project of the Year category.

The CSP Qualifications are a set of customer service qualification developed by councils for councils under Renfrewshire Council and the Improvement Service's lead. They were launched in August 2008. Currently, 15 Scottish councils and two associated bodies - Scotland Excel and Lothian Pension Fund - offer the qualifications to their customer-facing staff.

The winners will be announced at an awards dinner in Glasgow on 19 November.
