The winners of the 2010 COSLA Excellence Awards were announced at a dinner in St Andrew's last night.
Nine councils were recognised for quality and innovation in delivering services to communities.
They included:
- Glasgow City Council and Cordia - Service Improvement & Innovation
- Perth & Kinross Council - Advancing Community & Citizen Well Being
- Dundee City Council - Tackling Health Inequalities & Improving Health
- North Lanarkshire Council - Promoting Sustainability
- Aberdeen City Council - Community Planning & Local Democracy
- Renfrewshire Council - Securing a Workforce for the Future
- South Lanarkshire - One to Watch
- Falkirk Council - Scottish Government Award for Delivering Excellence
- Renfrewshire Council/NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde - the SOLACE Best Team Award
- West Dunbartonshire Council - the COSLA Chair's Award
