The contract for supply of ITSO compliant smartcards for the National Entitlement Card Programme, managed by Dundee City Council, has now been awarded to Novacard Informationsysteme GmbH from Germany.
The duration of the contract is four years, during which time we hope to migrate from current card technology onto a micro-processor based card.
This allows a more flexible approach for moving forward with the National Entitlement Card Programme in the future.
