COMMUNITY and voluntary groups across the Stirling Council area are being reminded that they can apply for a grant of up to £1000 from Stirling Council’s Community Services for projects which benefit their communities.
New regulations to protect consumers
New laws to protect consumers from high-pressure sales in the home (and at their place of work) came into force this month. New doorstep selling regulations came into force on 1 October, which offer further protection for consumers who buy from salespeople who visit them in their home.
