Efficiency Statements Guidance Note issued |

The Framework and Guidance Notes for the 2007-08 Efficiency Statements have been issued by COSLA to Local Authority Chief Executives and Directors of Finance.
They were issued at this point to ensure councils have the Notes in good time for preparing their Statements and also as a reminder that COSLA will require to provide the aggregate figure for cashable efficiencies achieved by Local Government for 2007/08 to Scottish Government by end of August 2008. The notes are broadly the same as those issued for the 2006/07 Statements with only a few minor amendments.
