Comhairle nan Eilean Siar joins National CRM project PDF Print
Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is to join the National Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Project and implement Lagan's Enterprise Case Management solution. The Comhairle will become the 11th Scottish council using Lagan's solution as part of the National CRM Project, a strategic project co-ordinated by the Improvement Service's Customer First Programme.

Invitation to a project showcase and lessons learnt event PDF Print

As an organisation that encourages innovation and sharing of ideas, the Improvement Service set up two small funds in 2006 - the Innovation Exchange Fund and the Smart Fund - to support special projects that it was believed could have a useful impact on delivery of public services. All projects were selected for their potential for learning and outcomes to be taken up and built on by others in the public sector.

The IS is hosting a showcase event where, through a series of short presentations and workshops, you can learn more about the range of projects, meet the people behind them and hear about the successes, the challenges and the lessons learnt.

Work is about to being on an Improvement Service and Scottish Consumer Council project to explore the development of a standard approach to measure satisfaction with Scottish local authorities.

The research will determine the need for a uniform way of measuring how satisfied people really are with the services provided by Scotland's 32 local authorities.
