Equality Impact Assessment Toolkit Training |
Argyll and Bute Council has produced an Award-winning Equality Impact Assessment Toolkit and the Improvement Service has agreed to support a training day in the central belt for councils that want to use the toolkit. The toolkit was circulated to local authorities in September and several councils expressed an interest in using it. In Argyll and Bute, half-day training sessions have been delivered to familiarise officers with the process. Those attending these sessions gave very positive feedback and most people commented that the process was much easier to use than they had anticipated. If you are interested in using the toolkit and would like to attend a half-day session, please contact Jennifer Swanson, Policy Officer, Argyll & Bute Council on
