Social services at Clackmannanshire Council are to be featured in a website showcasing quality management and good practice.

The Council’s Services for Older People are to be showcased on the Scottish Quality Management Centre (SQMC) site because of its work in maintaining ISO 9000:2000 accreditation – the national Quality Management System.

A number of reports and research papers relating to local government improvement have been made available within the last week.

The Scottish Webteams forum is set up to service a network opportunity for public sector webteams across Scotland. Our Edinburgh seminar on 26th April looked at key hot topics that our members wanted raised:

• the future of IPSV (Integrated Public Sector Vocabulary);
• the current Scottish A-Z of Council Services project.

In addition our sponsors, Parallel 56, held valuable sessions on information architecture, usability and web copyrighting.
