Stirling Council, as lead council for the National Gazetteer and on behalf of Scottish local government and the Improvement Service, now wishes to procure a new solution to provide centralised collection, compilation, storage, maintenance, distribution and delivery of the National Gazetteer for Scotland to include core street and property elements.

Public sector employment in Scotland
Scotland's Chief Statistician has published statistics on Public Sector Employment in Scotland. The publication provides statistics up to Quarter 1 of 2008 and covers all of the public sector as defined by UK National Accounts.
As a follow up from the Lagan Capgemini Partnership launch event, the partnership is offering Scottish local authorities a CRM Healthcheck to help them understand progress and identify the critical next steps to achieve identified opportunities and improve quality of customer service delivery while realising efficiency improvements.
