Social Services Knowledge Scotland (SSKS): a unique resource |
NHS Education for Scotland (NES), IRISS, SCIE and Scottish Learning Networks have worked together to provide a new social services portal which enables all people involved in social services to share and search sources on research and best practice. Using this resource will enable you to search multiple websites, conveniently accessing books, journals and other relevant materials in one go. Specialist topic areas on leadership, dementia, research, and child protection are already being collated, with more planned in future. For more information and for all your social services information needs, please visit http://www.ssks.org.uk.
NB Please note that access to some of the information requires ATHENS registration - social services, public library staff and other local authority staff are amongst the wide range of groups able to register for the service. You can register through the NHS elibrary website amongst others.
