Smartphone App Requirements Workshop - 10 May 2011, Edinburgh

As part of the Customer First programme, this workshop will examine and fully define the requirements for the development of a Smartphone App for Scottish councils for (but not limited to):

  • graffiti
  • litter
  • fly tipping
  • dog fouling
  • road markings
  • road/pavement faults
  • lighting faults
  • lighting signage/bollard faults
  • lighting wall faults

Customer services, service delivery and communications staff from Scotland's 32 councils are invited to attend.

Working together to deliver development plans - 25 May 2011, Edinburgh

Using up-to-date and relevant case studies, the workshops will look at how key agencies and authorities can work together to enhance outcomes and enable good development to happen in the right places. The workshops will focus on how the key agencies operate within the development planning framework, but will also be relevant to other authority staff involved in making development happen.
