Sustainable Scotland Network Annual Conference – 10 November 2011, Edinburgh

Across Scotland, public sector bodies, private sector companies, voluntary sector organisations and communities are stepping up to deliver local action on Scotland's climate change and sustainable development ambitions. However, the change in scale and pace of delivery that is necessary will require all players to work together far more effectively. The conference will profile live examples of excellent local partnership working and debate how effective cross-sector partnerships and local leadership can be fostered, implemented and scaled up.

University of Edinburgh free international knowledge event - 15 November 2011, Edinburgh

This University of Edinburgh and Scottish Government event is aimed at Senior or Executive Managers in any organisation, in any sector and will celebrate the launch of the new Knowledge-Network (K-Net) project. Speakers include David Gurteen, Scottish Water and Perigean Technologies (USA. The event will highlight case studies for the practical application of organisational knowledge and learning methods that respond to the strategic need to stimulate creativity; to innovate; to improve decision-making capability; to become more adaptive and dynamic; and to protect, develop, retain, share and apply knowledge resources.
