The National Entitlement Card Migration Project has been shortlisted for the ‘Most Innovative Transport Project’ at the National Transport Awards.
The project saw the replacement of almost one million National Entitlement Cards over the course of a few months ahead of their expiration on 31 December 2016.
Using Data Hub, the Improvement Service’s free address validation service, organisations were able to identify the most accurate and up-to-date address and person records for their customers. This ensured that new cards were sent to the right address without having to manually verify details.
The National Transport Awards celebrate successes achieved on national and local transport projects that improve the experience of transport users and add to the successful development of the nation’s transport infrastructure.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony on 12 October 2017
