The Scottish Improvement Science Collaborating Centre is offering access to its free online course, Compassionate Care: Getting it Right, beginning on 17 July 2017.
This course is aimed at health and social care practitioners, carers, students and service users, and explores the impact and delivery of compassionate care.
The importance of compassion in health and social care has been brought to the fore in recent years by high-profile public inquiries. Compassion has become a priority for care-providing organisations around the world.
This online course will explore the issue of compassionate care in relation to the key points from these investigations and from other theoretical perspectives. It will provide practical tools and insights that can be used to implement compassionate health and social care in any setting.
