The SLAED Indicators Framework is a ‘basket’ of measures developed by SLAED (Scottish Local Authorities Economic Development Group) with input from the Improvement Service and the Scottish Government. The SLAED Indicators Framework Report 2017-18, which provides an aggregated summary of the economic development data received, is available to download. The 2016/17 report, 2014/15 report, 2013/14 report and the 2012/13 report are also available.
The SLAED Indicator Framework is part of the Economic Outcomes Programme. This Programme was established in 2012 to help councils and their partners embed the key messages of the Improvement Guide. Now in its second phase, the Programme is now focused on undertaking detailed impact assessments of the current “economic footprint” of councils and partnerships, and working with them to increase their impact.
